Description
MINOS is a long-baseline neutrino oscillation experiment utilising Fermilab's NuMI beam and two functionally identical steel/scintillator calorimeter detectors. Here we describe the short and long term physics goals of MINOS and we give a brief overview of the beam and detector technology used to achieve them.
