99m Tc-aprotinin and separate kidney function: Correlation with 131 I-OIH clearance rates

Description
Our results indicate that Tc-A is a feasible indicator of separate kidney function even 90 min p.i. when scans are easily carried out even on outpatient basis, with better counting statistics, lower blood background and urine excretion over DMSA. In addition the handling of the radiopharmaceutical by the kidney, different from that postulated for DMSA, may be suitable for the study of tubular diseases and tubular metabolism of light chain proteins.
