Device for the irradiation of flowable products
Description
A device for the irradiation of flowable products is described by which it is possible to irradiate uniformly the product passing by continuously. The device possesses a cylindrical irradiation space containing a case exhibiting a spiral-configuration channel through which the material to be irradiated flows, and in the walls of which the radiation sources are arranged. The further constructional design, guaranteeing a uniform flow rate and the shielding of the radiation source, is described extensively. (UWI)

Es wird eine Anlage zur Bestrahlung fliessfaehigen Produkte beschrieben, bei der es moeglich ist, das kontinuierlich durchlaufende Produkt gleichmaessig zu bestrahlen. Die Anlage besitzt einen zylinderfoermigen Bestrahlungsraum, in dem ein Einsatz angeordnet ist, der einen spiralfoermigen, von dem zu bestrahlenden Produkt durchstroemten Kanal aufweist, in dessen Wandungen die Strahlungsquellen untergebracht sind. Die weitere apparative Ausstattung, die einen gleichmaessigen Durchsatz und die Abschirmung der Strahlung gewaehrleisten, ist ausfuehrlich beschrieben. (UWI)Files
