Dual-electrode arc welding of 10KhSND steel with forces weld formation
Description
Properties of the 10KhSND steel welded joints obtained by the method of dual-electrode arc welding with forced weld formation into a narrow joint gap are studied within the 550-950 A current range. It is established that the process of dual-electrode welding considerably extends technological feasibilities of single-pass welding of low-alloyed steels 20-50 mm thick in a vertical position. The welding process is stable and provides stable joint properties. The building-up coefficient constitutes 23.8 kg/h at a current of 950 A
