NMR spectra of polycrystals with a 3/2 spin under quadrupole interaction

Description

NMR spectra of polycrystals with a 3/2 spin are calculated with provision for the effects of the first order with ratio of individual line semiwidth to a value characterizing quadrupole interaction of β/νsub(Q)=0.14; 0.28; 0.42; 0.56; 0.7 and electric field gradient asymmetry parameter of eta=0.01; 0.2; 0.4; 0.6; 0.8; 0.99. The Gauss form of individual lines was used in calculations. The results obtained are applied to the analysis of NMR spectra of polycrystals of boron nitrides of sphalerite (BNsub(sph)) and wurtzite (BNsub(w)) modifications on 11B nuclei. Satisfactory agreement of experimental and calculated spectra at equal individual widths of a central and satellite lines of the latter is obtained for BNsub(sph). In the case of BNsub(w), it is necessary to take into consideration an additional widening of satellite lwines conditioned by higher dislocation density in BNsub() (about 1011 cm-2) as compared to BNsub(sph)
