THEXSYST - a knowledge based system for the control and analysis of technical simulation calculations
Description
This system (THEXSYST) will be used for control, analysis and presentation of thermal hydraulic simulation calculations of light water reactors. THEXSYST is a modular system consisting of an expert shell with user interface, a data base, and a simulation program and uses techniques available in RSYST. A knowledge base, which was created to control the simulational calculation of pressurized water reactors, includes both the steady state calculation and the transient calculation in the domain of the depressurization, as a result of a small break loss of coolant accident. The methods developed are tested using a simulational calculation with RELAP5/Mod2. It will be seen that the application of knowledge base techniques may be a helpful tool to support existing solutions especially in graphical analysis. (orig./HP)

Das System wird zur Kontrolle von thermohydraulischen Stoerfallsimulationen von Leichtwasserreaktoren sowie deren Ergebnisanalyse und Darstellung eingesetzt. THEXSYST besteht aus einer Expertenschale mit Benutzeroberflaeche, einer Datenbank und einem Simulationsprogramm. Das System ist modular aufgebaut und verwendet RSYST-Techniken. Ferner wurde eine Wissensbasis zur Kontrolle der Stoerfallsimulationen von Druckwasserreaktoren erstellt. Dabei wurden fuer eine Referenzanlage Regelsaetze erarbeitet, welche die Vorgaenge der Simulation im Bereich der Druckentlastungsphase des Reaktorkuehlsystems infolge eines kleinen Lecks umfassen. Die Brauchbarkeit der entwickelten Methoden wird an einer Simulationsrechnung mit RELAP5/Mod2 ueberprueft. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass der Einsatz wissensbasierter Methoden bereits bestehende Loesungen zur Unterstuetzung der Simulationsrechnungen, dabei insbesondere die grafische Auswertung, sinnvoll ergaenzt.
