Description

A comparison of the radiative correction effects in ν-induced deep-inelastic scattering and in the direct measurements of the vector boson masses at panti-p collider (UA1 and UA2) is reported. It is shown that an updated analysis of the two processes leads to a first evidnece in favour of radiative corrections in the standard model. By combining the two processes, the most refined determinations available at present of both the standard model parameters and the vector boson masses is obtained. 27 refs
