Problems of automatic load discharging NPP power unit with WWER-440 reactor at TBB-220-2 generator excitation loss are considered. Requirements for effective solution of automatic load discharging NPP power units are given. Results of experiments using operating equipment are presented. A recommended flawsheet of automatic load discharging power unit satisfying the requirements of directive materials is given
