Light incoherent scattering by a finite volume of a relativistic plasma

Description

Incoherent light scattering of laser radiation with a finite volume of relativistic plasma is considered. The results obtained permit to correct the erroneous interpretation existing in literature of the finite time of electron stay (FTS) in the scattering volume and show the real conditions (of other nature and considerably stricter) of perceptibility of the FTS effect. Relations between classical and quantum cross sections of incoherent scattering of light with electrons under conditions of the total absence of the FTS effect is discussed briefly
