Description

Meta-hydroxybenzoate complexes of manganese (2), iron (3), cobalt (2), nickel (2), zinc and cadmium are prepared and characterized. (Cd(OH)(C7H5O3)3x4H2O is obtained by interaction of m-hydroxybenzoic acid with a freshly prepared aqueous solution of cadmium carbonate during heating. The prepared cadmium complex is soluble in water, ethane, DMPA, o-xylene; is not soluble in dioxane, CCl4, diethyl ether, acetone. The elementary analysis data, results of indexing diffractograms of prepared complexes are presented, IR-spectra and structure are considered
