Dissipative processes, galaxy formation and 'early' star formation
Description
Scenarios are described for the process whereby the primordial material is transformed from gas at z approximately 1000 into bound systems and stars at the present epoch. The alleged 'missing mass' could consist of stars which condensed at z > approximately 100 before galaxies had formed as gravitationally bound units. (Auth.)
