This work deals with the issues of accident waste management. Descriptions of the determination of radioactive waste quantities, the classification of radioactive waste confined in unit 4 sarcophagus, the safety of treatment technologies for radioactive waste from the unit 4 of Chernobyl, the implementation of IAEA safeguards regime to nuclear materials from the 4th unit of Chernobyl nuclear power plant and some issues of the disposal of 4th unit radioactive waste are given.
