Description

The historical and current situation of research and application of seismic base isolation for the NPP buildings is described in brief. It shows that it is important and necessary for Chinese nuclear engineering to study on the seismic base isolation for NPP buildings. The proposal is given to research and design of base isolation system for nuclear power plant buildings in China. (authors)
