Use of dimetpramid for the prophylaxis and treatment of neurotoxic reactions during radio- and chemotherapy of patients with Hodgkin's disease

A study was made of the efficacy of a new Soviet drug dimetpramid of the group of substituted benzamides for the prophylaxis and treatment of neurotoxic reactions in radio- and chemotherapy of patients with the Hodgiin disease. It has been established that the use of dimetpramid before and during specific therapy helps to prevent nausea and vomiting in 96 % of cases.
