Search for new physics in anti b → anti s e+e- decays
Description
In summer 2014 the LHCb collaboration published their results on the measurement of the observable RK = B(anti B → anti Kμ+μ-)/B(anti B → anti Ke+e-), which revealed a deviation of 2.6σ from the Standard Model prediction. I check whether the deviation can be explained by scalar and pseudo-scalar dimension-six operators and investigate constraints from other measurements in a model-independent way. Furthermore, I analyse the contributions of the new operators to the angular distribution of anti B → anti Ke+e- decays.
