Statistical properties of drift wave fluctuations

Description
Turbulence nature of plasma, confined in a magnetic field, is considered and its comparence with hydrodynamic turbulence is performed. The statistic properties of fluctuations are analyzed both on the basis of Gibls distribution for soliton gas model of electrostatic field and also by means of equilibrium, statistics of the field Hamiltonian theory. For these purpose nonlinear equations of drift waves are derived. The model of plasma as an inhomogeneous medium with simple hamiltonians, enabling determination of canonical distribution in explicit form, is plotted from reduced equations of nonlinear drift waves.
