Study on the accurate volume measurement system of 1AF solution
Description
Several runs of volume calibrations were carried out to the simulative account tank equipped with a set of pneumatic liquid and density measurement apparatus. The raw data from each calibration run are standardized to a certain set of reference condition (the major parameter is temperature). Then, according to the variance of the cross-section area of the tank and the profile plots, incremental slope plots, the tank is divided into several model segments. Giving some appropriate correction and compensation, the data in each segment are fitted into calibration functions with the inverse regression model. In the model, volume increments are independent variables and liquid heights are responses. The calibration functions are reversed into measurement functions and the appropriate uncertainty must be calculated. The measurement functions can be used to determinate the volume of process solution responding to a certain liquid height then. In the contrast testing, the relative uncertainty of the transfer volume is better than 0.3% (k=3). (authors)
