Lifetimes of rotation-aligned states in 190-193Pt

Description
Half-lives of 7- and 12+ states in 190,192Pt and 25/2- states in 191,193Pt were measured with the in-beam direct timing method. Time spectra of conversion electrons were recorded relative to the beam bursts of the Bonn cyclotron. The values for B(E2,12+→10+) in 190,192Pt are compared with available calculations for pure (vi-213/2) rotation-aligned configurations. The systematics of the B(E2) values within the semi-decoupled negative paraity bands is discussed. An attempt has been made to measure the half-life of the 7- level in 188Pt. The still existing inconsistences are briefly discussed. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
Mit der in-beam Direktzeitmethode wurden Lebensdauern von 7- und 12+-Zustaenden in 190,192Pt und 25/2--Zustaenden in 191,193Pt gemessen. Die Zeitspektren von Konversionselektronen wurden relativ zu den Strahl-Pulsen des Bonner Zyklotrons gemessen. Die Werte fuer B(E2,12+ → 10+) in 190,192Pt werden mit zugaenglichen Berechnungen fuer reine (vi-213/2) rotations-ausgerichtete Konfigurationen verglichen. Es wird die Systematik der B(E2)-Werte innerhalb der halbentkoppelten Baender negativen Paritaet diskutiert. Ein Versuch wurde unternommen, die Lebensdauer des 7--Zustands in 188Pt zumessen. Die noch bestehenden Inkonsistenzen werden kurz diskutiert. (orig.)Additional details
