PNC equations of motion method
- 1. Oxford Univ. (UK). Clarendon Lab.
Description
We describe the application of the Equations of Motion method to the calculation of parity non-conserving (PNC) transition matrix elements in heavy atoms. We extend the usual formalism to include the PNC weak electron nucleus interaction and give results for a transition of experimental interest in Pb. (orig.)
