Description

An exact description is given of the long-distance behavior of the correlation functions for the one-dimensional anisotropic t-J model. We employ the Bethe-ansatz method and the finite-size scaling technique in conformal-field theory. The behavior of correlations indicates that the singlet electron pairs of the Cooper type are formed. This conclusion is also confirmed by the calculation of the conductivity and the effective transport mass
