Sup(31)P-NMR studies on the interaction between Rh(AA)(CO)(PPhsub(3)) complexes and free PPhsub(3)

Description
The interaction between rhodium complexes used as catalysts of olefin reactions, and phosphine ligands was studied by means of sup(31)P-NMR. The method made it possible to detect free and coordinated phosphines separately. It could be stated that uncoordinated phosphine exchanges with the phosphine of carbonyltriphenylphosphineanthranilatorhodium via an Ssub(N)2 mechanism. (V.N.)
