Proceedings of the 8th annual meeting of Japan Chapter, the Institute of Nuclear Materials Management (INMM)

The INMM was founded in 1958, which is a nonprofit organization composed of the individuals belonging to government organs, private enterprises, universities, research institutes and others related to the utilization of nuclear materials. Its activities aim at the security measures for nuclear fuel facilities, the application of scientific and technological principles to the management of nuclear materials, the promotion of the research in the fields of material management and security measures, the planning and institution of various standards, and the education, training and certification of persons concerned. Regional chapters are established in three places in USA, Japan and Vienna. At present, it has about 800 members. The 8th annual meeting of Japan Chapter was held on May 29, 1987 in Tokyo. Five lectures were given, and nine sessions were held. Thereafter, the general meeting of Japan Chapter was held. In this book, the gists of the lectures and 22 presented papers are collected. (K.I.)
