Even today radiation therapy is proved to be a good method for management of inflammatory joint diseases in selected cases. Radiation techniques and results will be discussed. In addition the discussion of the possible sideeffects due to false application of technique and dosis is also given. (orig.)

Abstract (German)

Die Bestrahlung entzuendlicher Gelenkserkrankungen stellt auch heute noch bei exakter Indikation und einwandfreier Technik eine sehr wirksame Behandlungsmethode dar. Es werden Bestrahlungstechnik und Ergebnisse besprochen. Abschliessend wird auf die Strahlenbelastung und auf bei unsachgemaesser Durchfuehrung eventuell auftretende Nebenwirkungen eingegangen.
