A new approach to reduce CO2 emission by radiation-controlled combustion and carbon recovery
Description
In view of the increasing evidence based on the scientific measurements and prediction, the climate changes on global scale have been discussed extensively, in particular, related to the carbon dioxide emission into atmosphere through the consumption of the fossil fuel. It is also pointed out that the anthropogenic emissions of gases other than CO2 (so called greenhouse gases; CFCs, O3, N2O, CH4, H2O ···) are likely to contribute appreciably to the global warming. In this paper the authors reports on fact that the atmosphere has a certain capacious limit for the emission of the greenhouse gases. On the other hand, leaving room for further stimulative discussions, the fossil fuels are generally recognized to be a major feedstock for a subsequent few decades in the light of the economical and technological feasibility. In this respect a new energetics would be awaited, on a high priority basis, concerning the entire system of the combustion technologies so as to realize the substantial mitigation of the global environmental threat
