Surface states at the boundary of a nanoparticle-polymer matrix

Description
The barriers of the holes injection in the polyparaxylylene-iron (lead) nanocomposites are determined through the method of the photoconductivity spectroscopy. The barrier value is equal to 3.6 and 3.0 eV for the iron and lead correspondingly. The barrier value by the oxygen overlap decreases up to ∼ 3.2 eV for the iron and ∼ 2.75 eV for the lead. The shifts of the polyparaxylylene as well as iron and lead vacuum levels constitute 1.0 and 0.1 eV correspondingly
Abstract (Russian)
Методом спектроскопии фотопроводимости были определены барьеры инжекции дырок в нанокомпозитах полипараксилелен-железо (свинец). Величина барьера равна 3.6 и 3.0 эВ для железа и свинца соответственно. При напуске кислорода величина барьера уменьшается до ∼ 3.2 эВ для железа и ∼ 2.75 эВ для свинца. Сдвиги вакуумных уровней полипараксилилена и наночастиц железа и свинца составляют 1.0 и 0.1 эВ соответственноAdditional details
