Kinetics of fast monatonic beams in a thermonuclear plasma

Description
Method for calculating the population of excited levels in nonhydrogen-like monoenergetic atoms in a beam passing through plasma, synthesizing calculation of populations of lower levels through equation system matrix for populations with analytical calculation of populations of the Rydberg high-excited states on the basis of the Beigman theory is created within the frames of quasi-stationary model. Numerical code calculating populations is developed. The case for selective laser excitation on one of the lower levels is considered. The problem on weakening lithium beam in plasma of thermonuclear reactor is solved
