Record of a lecture given in January 1988 at CERN (Geneva), devoted to the meaning of quantum theory and divided into eight topics: quantum theory in contemporary physics, historical view, Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics, reconstruction of the abstract quantum theory, modern interpretations, philosophy and consciousness, concrete quantum theory, and non-locality.
