Production of large-sized ingots of the EhP56Sh steel
Description
A brief specification is given of the quality (density of microstructure, low level of contamination by nonmetallic inclusions, low content of delta-ferrite) of EP56 steel (0.09% C; 10 % Cr; 4.4 % Ni) ingot measuring 565 x 565 mm in cross section obtained by electroslag remelting of cast electrodes 370 mm in diameter from a semi-continuous caster
