Status of EPIC

Description

The status of EPIC, a proposed 14-GeV electron-positron storage ring which may be built at the Rutherford Laboratory, is given. Changes from the proposal are described, especially the characteristics of the booster injector and methods of beam bunching in the main ring. The R and D program on the components for the machine is also outlined. (auth)
