Primary energy sources for electricity supply in the FRG - demand and requirements as seen by the electricity supply industry

Description

Starting from the present energy supply situation in the FRG, the attempt is made to elucidate basic tendencies for its development until 1990. The author pleads for the necessary growth by means of a series of theses. The supply with electric power being in the foreground can only be secured in the long run by means of greater utilization of coal and nuclear energy. Due to costs, other energy sources - playing a major role - will contribute less to the supply of electric power. (UA)

Abstract (German)

Ausgehend von der augenblicklichen Energieversorgungssituation der BRD wird versucht, die Grundtendenzen der Entwicklung bis 1990 deutlich zu machen. Mit einer Reihe von Thesen wird fuer ein notwendiges Wachstum plaediert. Die im Vordergrund der Energieversorgung stehende Versorgung mit elektrischer Energie laesst sich laengerfristig nur durch den verstaerkten Einsatz von Steinkohle und Kernenergie sicherstellen. Die anderen - heute noch eine groessere Rolle spielenden - Energietraeger werden aus Kostengruenden einen geringeren Beitrag zur Stromversorgung bringen. (UA)
