Natural zeolites - origin and mechanism of action
Description
The chemical composition and the crystalline structure explain ion exchange, adsorption selectivity, acidity and stability of zeolites. The properties of the two most important natural zeolites, e.g. Klinoptilolite and mordenite are described in detail. This includes petrography, chemical modification and applications. (orig.)

Mit der chemischen Zusammensetzung und Kristallstruktur sind die wichtigsten Eigenschaften, wie Ionenaustausch, Adsorptionsselektivitaet, Aziditaet und Stabilitaet von Zeolithen erklaert. Die Eigenschaften der zwei bedeutendsten Naturzeolithe, das Klinoptilolith und das Mordenit werden eingehender dargelegt. Dazu gehoeren die petrographische Beschreibung, die chemischen Modifizierungen und die Anwendungsmoeglichkeiten. (orig.)Additional details
