Description
The determination of the natural radioactivity is today a part of quality assurance procedures. For this reason about 150 samples of building materials including additives as red mud etc. were examined and the representative values according to the regulations of the OECD and the Federal Republic of Germany were calculated. In addition, ceramic powders as used for the fabrication of artificial teeth and various metals were analyzed for their content of radionuclides. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
Die Bestimmung der Eigenradioaktivitaet stellt heute einen Teil der Qualitaetssicherung dar. Aus diesen Gruenden wurden 150 Stoffproben einschliesslich von Zusaetzen wie Rotschlaemme etc. untersucht und nach den im OECD-Raum bzw. in der BRD geltenden Richtlinien beurteilt. Zusaetzlich wurden noch keramische Massen, die zur Herstellung von kuenstlichen Zaehnen Verwendung finden, und verschiedene Metalle auf ihren Radionuklidgehalt analysiert. (orig.)Additional details
