Description
This paper largely illustrates results, that were presented on the 9th Texas-Symposium in Munich from 14th to 19th December 1978. In the first part the present state of gravitational theory (Einstein theory) is treated. It follows explanations on the present cosmological ideas according to the Friedman models. The third part is devoted to quasars and galaxies. Pulsars and supernovae are subjects of the third part. Finally the X-ray sources are treated, that give an especially large number of riddles to the astrophysicists. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
Der Aufsatz schildert weitgehend Ergebnisse, die auf dem 9. Texas-Symposium vom 14. bis 19. Dezember 1978 in Muenchen vorgetragen wurden. Im ersten Abschnitt wird der Stand der Gravitationstheorie (Einsteinsche Theorie) behandelt. Es folgen Ausfuehrungen ueber die gegenwaertigen kosmologischen Vorstellungen in Anlehnung an die Friedmann-Modelle. Der dritte Teil wendet sich den Quasaren und aktiven Galaxien zu. Pulsare und Supernovae bilden den Gegenstand des vierten Teiles; als letztes werden die Roentgenquellen behandelt, die den Astrophysikern noch besonders viele Raetsel aufgeben.
