Hyperon-nucleon and hyperon-hyperon interaction in quark

  • 1. Niigata Univ. (Japan)

Description

To understand the nuclear force and YN and YY interaction on the basis of the unified mechanism, the work was studied on a supposition that the quark model was the most suitable model for description of this two baryons system. With using quark cluster model by (3q)-(3q) system, SU(3) symmetry in the interaction between baryons was described from a point of view of quark flavour. An effective attraction in the middle field in dependence on flavour was constructed by the scalar meson exchange potential of Nijmegen model-F. The form factors of baryon (3q) cluster were introduced as the structural characteristic of baryon octet. To calculate the phase difference and the effective local potential, WKB-approach was applied to RGM equation with the effective meson exchange potential (WKB-RGM). The phase difference of various YN systems obtained were agreed with those of Nijmegen model-F, except that of ΣN(I=3/2)1P channel. The spin-orbit force of NN, ΛN and ΣY system and the central force of S=-2 system were explained. (S.Y.)
