On the tripartite entanglement of three qubits and the entropy of STU black holes

Description

We show how the entropy of STU black holes is given by the same formula as the tripartite entanglement of three qubits. We explore this link and provide a possible explanation in terms of the wrapping of D3 branes that construct the black holes. This construction also allows us to identify the five parameter generating solution of black holes with a similar one for the qubits. (Abstract Copyright [2009], Wiley Periodicals, Inc.)
