Quantum measurement theory including initial correlations and observables with continuous spectra

Creators

Description

In the framework of the quantum mechanical measurement theory measurements are studied where the state of the object and the state of the apparatus are initially already correlated. It is shown that the usual difficulties extend to the measuring schemes considered here. The general structure of the theory is clarified. (author)
