Description
Condensation of hydrocinnamic acid with resorcinol, 3-metoxyphenol and 4-alkylresorcinol in the presence of BF3 is proceeding with formation of chelates 4'-oxy-, 4'-metoxy and 5'-alkyl-4'-oxy-2'-defluorineboronoxyhalcons, composition and structure of which were proved by elementar analysis, reverse synthesis, infra-red and ultraviolet spectra
