J/ψ and charm at RHIC

Description

A comprehensive overview of charm-related measurements by the PHENIX Collaboration at RHIC is presented. It is shown that Cold Nuclear Matter (CNM) effects cannot be understood in terms of just shadowing and constant breakup cross-section. There are indications of J/ψ suppression in most central Au + Au collisions beyond CNM effects. Open charm suppression and flow in Au + Au collisions is similar to that of light quarks.
