Use of some film dosemetres for determination of proton beam intensity

Investigations on the use of certain dosemeters for the dosimetry of proton beam emergent into the atmosphere are conducted. The aim of the investigations is dosimetric maintenance of materiological works, made in the field of proton irradiation. The change of optic density and colour of films has been used to determine the absorbed energy of proton irradiation. Under different regibmes of cyclotron operation the doses absored by the films are determined and actual intensities of proton beam are calculated. Experimental values of the intensities differ from the given values that is why it is necessary to use accompanying dosemeters during all materiological works using a proton accelerator
