Dealing with power variation in the coordinated grid model

Description

This report discusses certain improvements of a simulation model for the coordinated electric power grid in Norway. The calculated marginal value of power is now consistent with load variations within the week and is thus more plausible than before. The calculated economic result is also improved. The improvements were made possible by a better treatment of the flow of information between the regional model and the tapping distribution model and by the latter model's improved treatment of the weekly load variations. 3 refs., 5 figs., 1 table
