Possible antiferromagnetic paramagnon pairing mechanism
Description
The triplet pairing interaction in /sup 3/He is modeled in terms of the exchange of paramagnons. In a solid, fermi surface nesting gives rise to antiferromagnetic paramagnon fluctuations. The authors analyze these for a nearly half-filled, three dimensional cubic lattice and shows within an RPA-Eliashberg treatment that d-wave singlet pairing is favored. Here, following the same approach, results for a 2-D model is presented
