A mode of acceleration of electrons in betatrons

Description
Electrons in a betatron can be accelerated so that starting from the moment the electrons are introduced into the accelerating chamber, for a period of time not exceeding one-quarter of the functional cycle of the betatron, the rotationally symmetric magnetic field of the betatron is augmented with an additional toroidal or stellatron magnetic field.
