Polarographic investigation of halide and thiocyanate cadmium complexes in ethylene glycol

Description

The method of classical polarography at 25 deg C and μ=1.8 (NaClO4+LiCl, LiBr, NaI, LiCNS) was applied to investigate the solutions of halide and thiocyanate cadmium complexes in ethylene glycol. The composition of the complexes is determined, constants of their stability are calculated. Stability of the complexes grows in the CNS-, Cl-, Br-, I- ligand series
