An alternative boundary condition for superconductors

  • 1. Gravitational Physics Group, School of Physics and Astronomy, University of Birmingham, Edgbaston, Birmingham B15 2TT (United Kingdom)

Description

For numerical magnetostatic calculations involving superconductors in the perfect Meissner state, we replace the traditional boundary condition of zero normal magnetic field at a superconducting surface by that of zero tangential field at the inside of any such surface. (author)
