Excitation functions and isomer ratio for up-to-9 MeV proton interactions with Zr and Mo isotope nuclei

Absolute excitation functions have been measured for the reactions 90Zr(p, n)90m,gNb, 92Zr(p, n)92mNb, 96Zr(p, n)96Nb, 94Mo(p, n)94m,gTc, 95Mo(p, n)95m,gTc, 96Mo(p, n)96Tc, and 100Mo(p, n)100Tc. The isomer ratios have been measured for the reaction 92Mo(p, γ)93m,gTc. The obtained results are compared with calculations carried out making use of the Hauser-Feshbach statistical theory with different proton-optical-potential and nuclear-level-density parameter sets. Various effects on the spin dependence of nuclear level density are studied. Shell effects near the closed nuclear shell with the number of neutrons N=50 are discussed. The theory agrees with the data if the nuclear moments of inertia are close to those for the solid state
