Recommended procedure in the diagnosis of disturbed thyroid function and other disorders of the thyroid
Creators
Description
Efficient diagnostic measures in diseases of the thyroid are only possible, if the anamnestic findings and previous organ examinations give a clue as to which laboratory tests and morphological procedures should be carried out so that an adequate basis is obtained for the interpretation of overall findings and choice of therapeutic strategies. The available techniques in this field include sonography, radionuclide studies of the thyroid, X-ray examinations and determinations of hormone levels. (orig./GDG)
Abstract (German)
(orig./GDG)Additional details
