Thermal studies on Rb2U(SO4)3
- 1. Fuel Chemistry Division, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai (India)
Description
Differential analysis and high temperature x-ray diffraction methods were used to study the thermal properties of Rb2U(SO4)3. The compound undergoes two reversible phase transitions at 626 and 765 K before decomposing and melting at 905 and 1110 K respectively. Activation energy for the decomposition of Rb2U(SO4)3 was derived by isothermal methods. (author)
