Description

We have used point-contact (PC) spectroscopy on 1:6:6 rare earth:transition metal:metal compounds with complex magnetic order. The limiting compounds of the alloy series DyGe6Fe6-x Mn x are the helimagnet DyGe6Mn6 with antiferromagnetic coupling of Mn- and Dy-sublattices and DyFe6Ge6 showing antiferromagnetic order in the Fe-sublattice but only an independent order of the Dy-sublattice at low temperature. Here, we present new PC data for melt-spun ribbons using homocontacts and heterocontacts with Cu
