Hydrogen sorption by continuously regenerated films of some rare earth metals
Creators
Description
A study was made on kinetics of hydrogen sorption by Dy, Ho, Er films at room temperature in 6.65x10-6-6.65x10-4 Pa range of H2 pressure change and at steady rate of metal condensation equal to 1.6x1013 atxs-1xcm-2. Kinetics of H2 sorption was correlated with the data for N2, obtained under similar conditions. It was established that the values of H2 and N2 adhesion factors are close and equal to 0.04-0.05 for rare earths with similar physicochemical properties
