Crack detection
Description
A means for crack detection by a penetrating liquid is described. As contrast medium to the liquid, a material that coagulates into a removable film or sheet is proposed so that an imprint of the crack pattern may be retained. Also this material may contain magnetisable particles which arrange themselves in a greater concentration around the cracks when the pieces to be inspected are placed in a magnetic field
